My short term career goal is to be accepted into a new nurse residency/internship program on the unit of my dreams, the Neonatal ICU. The moment I stepped onto the NICU in my clinical rotations, I felt like I was home. Ever since, the NICU is where I can fulfill my passion as I care for the littlest of patients and their families. My family has taught me that there are no limits when it comes to an education, and that you should always follow your dreams. I want to make my family proud, and more importantly, I want to make myself proud. As I gain experience in the Neonatal ICU, my ultimate career goal is to complete my education with a DNP as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
